Dr. David Fetherman

Dr. David Fetherman is the newest member of our team at Ariya Family Chiropractic.
Chiropractic Education
Dr. Fetherman received his Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Pre-Med with a minor in Music from the University of Scranton. During his education, he realized that the traditional medicine he was being taught treated only symptoms and not the underlying causes of disease. Studying the central nervous system and its control of every other system in the body showed him an alternative. That alternative is Chiropractic.
Witnessing The Power Of Chiropractic Care Lead Me To Become A Chiropractor
Prior to beginning his education, Dr. Fetherman owned and operated a homemade ice cream parlor and casting manufacturing business for 9 years in Pennsylvania. In his free time, he traveled the East coast playing with a polka band performing at various festivals and events including a Discovery Channel documentary filmed in NY City. During this time period, he experienced first hand how chiropractic care can positively impact one’s life. Working 12 hours a day and 7 days a week, Dr. Fetherman went to his chiropractor regularly to help with muscle tightness, pain, and headaches. More significantly, witnessing the positive outcomes of chiropractic care that his father received during his fight with cancer lead him to pursue a career in chiropractic.
Working Towards A Diplomate In Neurology
Dr. Fetherman is currently working towards his diplomate in Neurology which is an additional 300 hours dedicated to different conditions and care of the nervous system. He received special training and education in neurodiagnostics which includes needle EMG and nerve conduction velocity testing. This additional education enhances his knowledge of nervous system related conditions such as diabetes related polyneuropathy and injury related radiculopathy.
